About Our Service . . .

¿Qué Pasa? Orlando is the most comprehensive Spanish web site covering Central Florida. We are committed to serving Central Florida’s growing Hispanic community through periodic updates of news, public service announcements, and current issues impacting our community. The site also attracts visitors who are looking to vacation in Orlando, as well as those who want to relocate to the area. By reaching these people before they arrive in Central Florida, you increase the probability that they will use your product or service.

For tourists, the site includes information on accommodations, attractions, restaurants, entertainment and events. Those relocating to the area can find information on housing, employment, area demographics, schools, local government and more.

Our objective is to maintain an informative, interesting, attractive, exciting and easy-to-navigate Spanish site representing our Hispanic community, while linking Central Florida to the world.

About How We Promote Our Web Site . . . .

We know that in order for your potential customers to see your ad, they have to be able to find us on the Internet. So we work very hard to promote our site. Some of the ways we do this are:
  • We participate in trade shows

  • We are listed in web site directories in newspapers and publications in Latin America, the Caribbean, Central America, etc.

  • We send e-mails to U. S. Embassies and travel agencies in Spanish-speaking countries, as well as to other web sites catering to Spanish-speaking people

  • We have chosen to cluster with Orlando Online rather than being a stand-alone site, in order to further increase visibility

  • All of these methods of promotion ensure that people look to us for information about Central Florida.

    About Central Florida’s Local Hispanic Market . . .

Orlando (Central Florida) is the fastest growing Hispanic market in the nation.

". . . Many U.S. advertisers have stepped up efforts to reach the rapidly growing Latino market, saying it is not enough to expect mainstream English-language ads alone to win them over . . . More and more companies are discovering there is a big market out there to advertise to. "The Orlando Sentinel (February 19, 1995)

" . . . the Hispanic presence in Orlando has nearly tripled in the past ten years . . . Orlando has had the Nation’s largest percentage jump in Hispanic population since 1980. " U.S. Census Bureau (July 9, 1991)

" . . . Osceola County had one of the nation’s largest Hispanic population surges since 1980, increasing by a whopping 1,100%." The Orlando Sentinel (March 9, 1991)

  • About Marketing Your Company On the Internet . . .

Over 85% of Fortune 500 companies list their Internet addresses in their advertising because the Internet is a powerful communications medium. Here are some ways it can help you:

  • Instant global exposure to new and existing customers. The Wall Street Journal estimates there are over 1.7 million Internet users in North America alone. Some estimates place the total number of Internet users as high as 30 million, with the number growing 10% per month.

  • Dynamic presentation medium allows products to dazzle. Your website shows off your product to its best advantage, and with a few mouse clicks, a customer or prospect can see as much or as little information as desired.

  • Immediate feedback allows you to constantly refine your sales message. And it’s far easier, faster, and less expensive to change your website than to change a brochure.

  • Keep ahead of your competition.

  • If your competitors already have a website, your business is a step behind.

  • If you are the first in your industry to publish a website, you’ve seized a competitive advantage.

  • Break the bonds of the printed word. Because a website is "published" in digital form that can be quickly and easily altered, it frees you to:

  • Instantly update your product and company information as change happens.

  • Customize information for your visitors to offer an interactive sales experience.

  • Publish as much as you want without worries about space or expense.

  • Improve customer satisfaction. The Internet is much more than a way to display information about your company’s products and services. Unlike other advertising media, your website provides two-way communication that will allow you to:

  • Enhance customers’ access to your company and product information. A properly managed website is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, so it can be visited whenever the customer or prospect desires.

  • Give your customers a voice. Through discussion forums, mailing lists, and so forth, you can encourage feedback to improve customer satisfaction and spark word-of-mouth referrals.

  • Save money while improving services. You can reduce internal training time and support costs by using centralized resources on the Web.
